These car seats were manufactured in 2023 and purchased new in 2024. They are used solely as rental items and thoroughly cleaned after each rental. The SlimFit R129 is a 2-in-1 convertible car seat that can be used from birth all the way up to 145 cm or approximately 12 years of age. Recommended use: - Rearward facing mode from 40-105 cm (birth to approx. 4 years) - Forward facing high-back booster mode from 100-145cm (approx. 3.5 to 12 years) SlimFit R129 meets the new R129 (legally known as ECE R129) standards. The main differences in these standards are that car seats are based on your child’s height, undergo more side impact testing, and ensure children sit rearward facing until they reach at least 15 months and 75 cm. The manufacturers recommend keeping your child rearward facing as long as possible because this seat position will better protect your child's head, neck and spine in case of impact. For this reason, we advise rearward facing up to 105cm or approximately 4 years of age. Safety Features: - R129 certified - Seat fastening with car seat belt (not isofix) - Interchangeable TrueShield™ side impact protection pod works to reduce side impact - Safety Surround™ Side Impact Protection wraps around your child for enhanced protection - 5-point harness that easily adjusts with one hand - Integrated belt lock-off Included Accessories: - Padded newborn insert and harness pads Manufactured in 2023.
