Do you want to rent your baby gear but are not sure if you'll be able to earn money? We have explained everything you need to know about earning extra by renting your baby gear. It's a lot much easier and cost-free with Babonbo! Whether you no longer use baby equipment or an extra one, Babonbo lets you connect with people from across the globe while earning extra from your baby gear. But how do you decide what to charge for renting and how to get paid? Here’s all you need to know!
Signing up for Babonbo and opening a store is completely free, so, you don't need to pay any entry or start fee to rent your baby gear. You just need to open your store, create an engaging listing, and wait for the reservations to come in. Only a Babonbo fee will be deducted from each order you receive. This commission is needed for Babonbo to improve your store's awareness. We use this cost to help our provider community with support, marketing efforts, protections, and product development. At the end of each order, the payout you’ll receive is what you charge parents minus the Babonbo commission fee. So, you can just click here and launch your baby gear rental store without paying any fee!
When you are a provider at Babonbo, you can decide on the daily rate customers will pay for your baby gear. Your rates can be modified at any time and can vary from day to day, season to season. For example, you can charge higher daily rates for rentals that last less than a week, and lower daily rates for rentals that last more than a week. Offering weekly, or monthly discounts is a good idea to encourage customers to rent for longer periods.
You can also add a delivery fee. At Babonbo, we offer our customers two options, either they can get baby gear from your location without paying any delivery fee; or they can choose one of the delivery points that you offer and pay the delivery fee that you'll charge. When you deliver baby equipment to some interests, such as airports, hotels, or vacation rentals, you can set a competitive and profitable delivery fee.
Our providers earn up to €2000 monthly by renting their baby gear to traveling families. Renting baby gear is a great way to make some extra cash while helping families travel with young children. Whether it's a stroller, car seat, or crib, baby gear is always needed when families are away from home.
Your earnings from baby gear rentals will be transferred to your account at the beginning of each month. You can also check the status of your payouts at any time by reviewing your provider dashboard. At Babonbo, you get your payment directly to your bank account. Therefore, it is highly important to carefully notify your bank information.
Some cities require hosts to collect taxes on their Babonbo earnings. You’ll need to check with your local government or other providers in your community about whether or not taxes must be collected from parents. How you collect any required taxes will vary depending on your location. Some providers have to collect taxes manually, while others can add surcharges to their listings. We’ll let you know what's required for your area and provide resources to help you get set up. We recommend explaining any taxes you’re required to collect in your listing description and communicating with parents where appropriate.
Value Added Tax, or VAT, may also apply in some locations. VAT is a tax assessed on the supply of goods and services and is typically included in the Babonbo service charge if applicable. Learn more about VAT.
At Babonbo, we’re committed to helping your renting business succeed. With a secure payment system, low fees, and the freedom to choose what you charge, you can create a listing that aligns with your business goals!
