Babonbo was started in 2018 by Duygu Sefa, founder, customer and provider of Babonbo. Duygu, a mother of two, created Babonbo inspired by her search for an easier way to travel with children.

"After numerous trips with my little girls, I realized that traveling with kids can become very stressful. I asked myself how to make my travels hassle-free and stressless. The idea of renting baby gear instead of carrying all the bulky equipment came at that point, and I also used my chance to help local parents."With a full understanding of what traveling families might be struggling with, in 2019, the Babonbo baby gear rental marketplace was launched to connect traveling families with local parents. Since that day, we’ve been proud to be the platform where traveling families find a solution while local parents earn extra money by renting baby gear.
Today, Babonbo is a large family of not only traveling families looking for baby gear but also providers from all around the world renting out baby gear.
